OUR JOURNEY

MUCH HAS CHANGED IN OUR WORLD

In 2018, several concerned individuals promoted the establishment of a non-profit organization to step in and offer a unique service to Israel's destitute individuals and families forgotten and left behind.

Now, in 2024, Yesh Ezra personally attends to the needs of an expanding number of desperate families, including displaced families from the war.

We invite you to take a journey with us on our website and to become a partner in our crucial work, restoring the unfortunate and lonely in our community to health and independence – for surely, there is no greater Mitzva than saving lives.

We invite you to meet our team and to ensure that Yesh Ezra grows to become an active member of Israel's non-profit organizations.

Meet the Team

"In order for us to expand and reach our three-year target, we need sponsors and donors like you who make a difference." Menachem Persoff.

Ilan Rosenthal

Assisting society's unsung heroes

Yesh Ezra's Greatest supporter is Ilan Rosenthal, a Jerusalem businessman and entrepreneur.

"I grew up poor in tough naiborhood in israel, and now it's time to give back," he notes.

Ilan's unwavering determination continues to be a source of inspiration. He personifies the concept of "Yesh," which serves as a motivating force for those facing adversity.

Ilan comments: "Our commitment is to offer assistance to the unsung heroes of society – struggling individuals and families who are overlooked and marginalized, particularly in times of crisis where their sense of security has been shattered."

Sara Miller coordinates Yesh Ezra's administrative activities. Coming from a background in cosmetics, Sara is used to meeting all sorts of people and has a special talent for listening with empathy to people's stories.

"I'm continuously overwhelmed by the straits in which people find themselves, so often not of their making and bereft of support, whether from family, friends, or the establishment," Sara proclaims.

Sara adds: "Working with Yesh Ezra has opened my eyes. The extent of poverty and destitution in Israeli society is enormous. You can never do enough to help. Every assistance could save someone's life – literally!"

"It's never too late to help" Sara Miller.

Sara lives in Jerusalem with two of her children.
